Bone & Joint is pleased to welcome Brent Turner, JD, to its executive team as Chief Executive Officer

Turner brings a wide range of leadership and administrative skills to Bone & Joint’s orthopedic care centers.

Turner gained his expertise holding positions as administrator, vice president, executive director, and chief executive officer (CEO) at national Fortune 500 health care enterprises, leading regional health care organizations, and specialty-focused clinics.

Before joining Bone & Joint, Turner served as executive director at Austin Kidney Associates, an independent practice, operating an ambulatory surgery center and employing 25 physicians with nine clinic locations. During his 16-year health care career, Turner also held leadership positions at Arizona Bone and Joint and Amarillo Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Institute.

As Bone & Joint’s CEO, Turner will lead staff and maintain a culture of excellent patient-focused care; oversee business development, financial, and strategic marketing efforts; direct clinical operations; and strategize and plan for expansion initiatives enhancing services and facilities.

Turner received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from West Texas A & M University. He earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech School of Law, with an emphasis and specialization in contracts and negotiations.

Before starting his career in health care administration, Mr. Turner founded an information technology company in Amarillo, Texas. He served for four years in the United States Air Force, earning the rank of sergeant. The Texas House of Representatives presented him with the Texas State Flag in recognition of his outstanding service.

Brent and his family are excited to relocate to the Midwest where they will be closer to family.
