Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise
Bone & Joint is expanding its physical therapy services to Weston, to meet the need for high-quality physical therapy services in Central Wisconsin.
After opening two physical therapy departments last year, Bone & Joint’s schedules filled quickly. It became obvious that people needed access to excellent physical therapy care.
The new 3,000 square-foot physical therapy center at 2106 Schofield Avenue, Weston, opened its doors on February 10, 2020.
It is fully equipped with a reception and waiting area, a private treatment room and curtained treatment tables. Patients also have access to a treadmill, stationary bikes, weights, and other types of exercise equipment to help them get back to active lives.
“Caring for our community’s orthopedic health and wellness is a high priority for our organization," said Jayson Dykema, Bone & Joint’s Business Development Manager. “We’re very pleased to offer our clients convenient physical therapy care in Weston. Area physicians outside the clinic are welcome to refer patients who need skilled and qualified physical therapy services, as well.”
Like other Bone & Joint departments, physical therapists work together with orthopedic, pain management, and sports medicine specialists to create the best treatment plans for their patients who are often dealing with pain or loss of movement from arthritis, surgery, or injuries.
“The addition of physical therapy services to our service line last year provided continuity,” said Dykema. “Now, we can care for people from diagnosis, through treatment, including surgery at our ambulatory surgery center, and through recovery until they reach their maximum range of motion and movement. It’s rewarding to offer care at this level.”
The Weston center is Bone & Joint's third designated physical therapy treatment location. It joins Plover ad Wausau as another place people in North Central Wisconsin can receive high-quality physical therapy care from a skilled and specialized team of therapists.
if you can't move like you used to, contact Bone & Joint and make an appointment with a physical or occupational therapist in Plover, Wausau, or Weston.
