Chief Executive Officer

Bone & Joint Clinic (BJC) was founded in 1969 and has grown to
be the preeminent, multispecialty orthopaedic practice in north
central Wisconsin. Today, BJC is comprised of ten physicians:
seven surgeons, two pain management specialists and a primary
care musculoskeletal medicine/sports medicine physician with plans
for adding four more physicians by 2010.

Clinic locations include Wausau, Merrill and Medford Wisconsin. A new, 43,000 sq. ft.Musculoskeletal Center and ambulatory surgery center is under construction in Town of Rib Mountain, a lovely, mountain-side community a short distance from Wausau. This new facility will have the distinction of being the "only" highly specialized orthopaedic clinic and musculoskeletal center in north central Wisconsin.

The Chief Executive Officer reports directly to the Board of Directors and is responsible for assisting the Board in the development and implementation of the strategic plan. On-going responsibilities include clinic operations, establishing and implementing all non-medical policies and procedures, financial management, business development, IT management, HR, contracting and external relationships. Executive level experience in the administration of a multispecialty or large single, surgical specialty physician-owned practice is ideal
for the CEO role. Bachelor's degree is required; master's degree is preferred.
