Is there an athlete you know who deserves to be recognized as a Hometown Hero?
Our Hometown Hero program supports and encourages outstanding athletes, young and old, who are active in northeastern Wisconsin. We will feature individuals and athletic teams on bonejoint.net who have excelled in sports in some way.This includes school-aged athletes and weekend warriors. So, who could be a hometown hero? Here are a few things to consider.
- Local athletics team that made it to the playoffs.
- Student athlete who made a fantastic play to win the game.
- Sports scholarship recipient(s).
- An individual who is athletically active despite physical odds.
- A respected coach who has gone above and beyond to help athletes be at their best.
- Volunteer who is giving his/her time to help kids play sports.
- A weekend warrior who has excelled in a sports competition. (A marathon, individual achievement, etc.)
